Updating your  DETAILS : If you have moved location ,  sold your practice and licence, changes your phone number or are thinking about changing your email address, then please  forward this information on to Capable Software.       We cannot contact you if necessary when we do not have your curren details.   You risk missing out of your Newsletters, Information notifications, Maintenance upgrades and so forth  or other information which may be important to you.    So please send us an email advising us of your detail changes.    support@capablesoftware.com.au    Backing up files on your PC   How many of you seriously backup your data files, Capable or otherwise?  Not many I presume; or perhaps you do a backup once in a while, maybe every second or third week.   Guess what!  You are potentially risking your business.   Backing up your files is so important, yet most people either forget or they either just feel they don’t have the time.  All I can say to that is “Make the time”.     Paying your CA that extra  time minutes to backup is like taking out an Insurance policy on your data files.		Maintaining your Internet Updates. Capable Software, together with its partners continues to provide the latest features and enhancements to its product, Capable 21C.  Extensive research and development efforts are in place to meet the growing demands of IT departments, whether big or small. These demands include supporting new Operating systems such as Windows XP, or even the new MS Office products.   Most software vendors including  Capable need to enhance their software to meet these demands.  Other vendors will ask you to purchase an entire new package which may be full replacement cost.  This is common practice.  They deem it as a "Significant Upgrade". Under the Capable "Internet Upgrade" plan, these issues are put aside for the end user. When you upgrade your Operating Systems, or Office products, the Capable "Live Update" feature will work it all out, putting your mind at rest. This is just one reason why maintaining your Capable systems is essential.  Other benefits include receiving all the latest enhancements to the product.  These enhancements can be viewed by reading the "Readme.rtf" inside C:\Program Files\Capable, or after the completion of the "Live Update". In conclusion, the daily figure of just 55 cents a day (inc gst) is your insurance in being "up to date" with the latest from Capable Software.
