Introducing Judith Akins for Capable Training
 
It has been several exciting months since I have been on the Capable team. My original involvement with the team started in 1991 - with PMS, and then in 1996 with the change over to Capable. Over the past 12 years I have seen so many enhancements to the program. These enhancements have come from what users have requested.
 
In the early day, many features were simple and straightforward. For example - the program was for Chiropractors and patients. Now the range of practitioners is extensive and the number of users has expanded. In the early days it was accepted that patients were charged a fee for service and paid by cash, cheque or credit card.
 
Now, business can provide a wide range of fee options, including family plans. Clients can pay on the day, with or without discounts, can pay for many visits in advance, a monthly or year fee, independent of the number of visits, or clients can be sent an account to them, or to a third party. So weather your business collects payment before, at or after a service is provided, Capable can keep tight control of your debtors. The options on how your clients can pay has also expanded to include - cash, cheque, credit  card, eftpos, Hicaps, etc.
 
All these, and many other features means that installing, setting up and using Capable does work better with some specialised knowledge and help. And that is where I fit into the team.


 

 
A phone call will help you get the job done, quicker, easier and more efficiently if you know how - before you waste time and even corrupt your data base.
 
The statistics that we have been keeping on the phone calls received reveal that 90 to 95% of problems come from three groups -
1. Capable not being set up correctly, or in the most efficient way,
2. CA or owners not knowing how to use Capable,
3.failure to understand the reports that come from Capable.
 
We teach our patients or clients about preventative health care  - to help you apply this philosophy to your office systems and computer maintenance I have developed a check list of Capable features - look at this list, tick off what you do, mark areas where you know you need help, fax it to me (07 3274 2074). We can organise a phone conference to support you.
 
I will be travelling to these locations - I can organise a visit to clean up your data base and ensure you get the support you need.
